A month sense went in, I have been waiting for some kind of hospital bill with a financial application to fill out for the billing department. So far in 1 month I received 2 bill's. A blood work bill and an Ambulance bill. I want to call the billing department to discuss my dire, financial situation. I just finished my medicaid application and am waiting for a card to be sent and get approved so I can pay these people something. It's been a month and I have no idea how long it takes to get to creditor's. I want to avoid that at all cost's actually. Is it to late to call the hospital's billing department to tell them my financial situation as of now, or wait for medicaid approval, then discuss payment. Do insurance company's even cover back bill's before I sighed up with them? I'm 18. I have no idea how any of this work's. I'm on my own on this one.

I was on a bike and I accidentally hit someone's car and broke the back windshield. Nothing else on the car is damaged except windshield. Later the car owner's car insurance company (state farm) send me a payment of $1700, and they have a subrogation service (Afni) to collect payment. The person in front of me was tail gating the person ahead of him so I was trying to keep distance and my brakes were on/off. The guy behind me crashed into me from behind. USAA is saying that they need to make sure that my daughter was not 1% at fault, meaning speeding perhaps. The officer estimated her speed at impact at around 40 mph and the speed limit is 55mph. She hit the drivers back tire of his Jeep Wrangler (small truck) causing him to rest in a small trench or ditch ion the side of the attempted driveway. The front passenger side above the front tire and the front by the headlight is damaged on her car. She tried to avoid him, protect her younger sister (13) and avoid veering to much left in fear of hitting the school bus. My girls were terrified when I arrived 15 minutes after the accident. USAA stated that she may have had time to instanly stop, but she tried everything that she could do. In my opinion, she should have never been put into that situation. USAA is saying that points of contact are off, but my insurance agent said that she hit the back tire because a Jeep Wrangler is only 5 ft long and he was not towing a boat or driving a common sized vehicle. Plus the driver admitted to pushing down on the accelerator when he realized what was happening. I just need to have someones advice on this matter before hiring a lawyer. Thank you.

I have USAA as my auto insurance. Here's the back story. I was parallel parked alongside a street here in Atlanta and a car (more than likely) was trying to get out of his/her space and hit the left driver side bumper pretty hard (ruining the paint and loosening up the bumper pretty good...and cracking the tail light). Although it has been asked many times, I need the most recent answer or suggestion of my problem : I'm married and currently we are planning to have a baby. We never had health insurance before (because it's too expensive and we don't really need it so far). We know that health insurance, especially which cover maternity will be very expensive, while we never know when will I get pregnant (we've been trying for 9 months and I'm not yet get pregnant). So is it worth it to get Maternity Insurance or should I just depend on Medicaid after I get pregnant ? We both are working now but not making really good money, yet probably not too little to be eligible for Medicaid too. I've been searching for some health insurance and agents but all of them offer me a high - not affordable premium which doesn't cover everything as well .. Hi. I just delivered a 4mm kidney stone a month ago. I heard the bill will be worst then the stone.lol. $7000 from what I'm hearing, not including the Ambulance Ride. A month sense went in, I have been waiting for some kind of hospital bill with a financial application to fill out for the billing department. So far in 1 month I received 2 bill's. A blood work bill and an Ambulance bill. I want to call the billing department to discuss my dire, financial situation. I just finished my medicaid application and am waiting for a card to be sent and get approved so I can pay these people something. It's been a month and I have no idea how long it takes to get to creditor's. I want to avoid that at all cost's actually.
